Position Summary:
Garudavega is seeking a dynamic, analytical, and commercially
focused Assistant Manager – Pricing to support the Pricing
Department in developing competitive pricing strategies, managing carrier
tariffs, and providing commercial support to the Sales and Operations teams.
The incumbent will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate
pricing for B2B, B2C, and C2C customers while maintaining profitability and
supporting business growth. The role requires close coordination with global
carrier partners, internal stakeholders, and the sales team to deliver
customer-focused commercial solutions.
The successful candidate should possess strong analytical
abilities, a sound understanding of the international courier and logistics
industry, and the capability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven
environment.

To support the organization's commercial objectives by:
- Preparing accurate and competitive customer quotations.

The Assistant Manager – Pricing will ensure that every quotation
and pricing decision aligns with the company's commercial principles:

- Ensure tariffs are available for all destinations,
products, and customer segments.

competitors.

- Deliver quotations within agreed turnaround times.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Pricing & Quotations
- Prepare quotations for B2B, B2C, and C2C customers.
- Respond to pricing requests within defined service
levels.
- Coordinate with Sales to understand customer
requirements.
- Ensure quotations comply with approved pricing
policies.
- Support strategic customer proposals and tenders.
2. Carrier Tariff Management
Maintain and update pricing received from:
- UPS
- FedEx
- DHL
- Emirates Express
- Airline partners
- Other logistics partners
Responsibilities include:
- Updating tariff databases.
- Monitoring carrier pricing changes.
- Validating rate accuracy.
- Maintaining pricing documentation.
- Supporting contract implementation.
3. Sales Support
Provide commercial support by:
- Assisting the Sales team with pricing for new customer
acquisitions.
- Preparing comparative pricing analyses.
- Supporting customer presentations with commercial
insights.
- Coordinating special pricing approvals.
- Providing pricing recommendations for strategic
opportunities.
4. Pricing Analysis
Prepare regular reports on:
- Customer profitability.
- Product profitability.
- Revenue per shipment.
- Revenue per kilogram.
- Lane profitability.
- Gross margin analysis.
- Carrier cost
comparisons.
- Pricing variance
reports.
Highlight trends and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
5. Market Intelligence
Monitor and report on:
- Competitor pricing.
- Industry pricing trends.
- Fuel surcharge
revisions.
- Currency fluctuations.
- Peak season surcharges.
- Airline capacity
changes.
- Market developments
affecting pricing.
Support the Head – Pricing with commercial intelligence for
strategic decision-making.
6. Pricing Governance
Ensure compliance with Garudavega's pricing policies by:
- Maintaining approved pricing records.
- Following discount approval processes.
- Ensuring pricing accuracy.
- Supporting commercial audits.
- Maintaining documentation for all special pricing
approvals.
7. Commercial Coordination
Work closely with:
- Sales Team
- Operations
- Customer Service
- Finance
- Business Development

- International Partners
Ensure seamless execution of commercial commitments.
8. Reporting & MIS
Prepare and circulate regular reports, including:
- Daily quotation tracker.
- Weekly pricing activity report.
- Monthly carrier cost analysis.
- Margin reports.
- Quote conversion reports.
- Customer profitability reports.
- Pricing exception reports.
- Commercial dashboard for management review.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
The Assistant Manager – Pricing will be evaluated on:

Experience Required:
- 5–8 years of experience
in Pricing, Commercial, Revenue Management, or International Logistics.
- Experience in Courier,
Express, Freight Forwarding, Airline Cargo, or Cross-Border Logistics will
be preferred.
- Exposure to working with
international carriers such as UPS, FedEx, DHL, Emirates Express, or
similar organizations will be an added advantage.
Educational Qualifications:
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree in
Commerce, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management,
Engineering, or a related discipline.
Preferred:
- MBA (Marketing, Finance,
or International Business).
- Certification in Supply
Chain, International Logistics, or Commercial Management.
Skills & Competencies:
