Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Identify and acquire new customers across target markets and industries.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Generate leads through networking, referrals, field visits, and market research.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
Client Relationship Management
Establish long-term relationships with corporate and retail customers.
Understand customer requirements and provide tailored logistics/shipping solutions.
Ensure high customer satisfaction through regular engagement and service follow-up.
Handle customer concerns and coordinate with operations teams for timely resolution.
Sales Planning & Execution
Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and market intelligence updates.
Monitor competitor activities and identify market trends.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements within company guidelines.
Team Leadership (if applicable)
Guide, mentor, and support sales executives and business development representatives.
Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to improve results.
Foster a high-performance sales culture focused on accountability and customer service.
Coordination & Reporting
Collaborate with operations, customer service, and marketing teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, and sales activities in CRM systems.
Present regular sales performance reports to management.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
4–8 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management.
Experience in logistics, courier, shipping, transportation, e-commerce, or related industries preferred.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
