About the Role
Garudavega is looking for an analytical, commercially minded Assistant Manager – Pricing to support pricing operations across logistics, courier, and international shipping services. You'll prepare accurate quotations, analyze cost structures, maintain pricing models, and work closely with sales, operations, and finance teams to deliver pricing that's both competitive and profitable. The ideal candidate balances strong analytical skills with the ability to weigh customer needs against business profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Pricing & Commercial Analysis
- Prepare and manage pricing proposals, quotations, and rate cards for B2B customers and channel partners
- Analyze operational costs, shipping charges, fuel surcharges, customs-related costs, and market conditions to determine competitive pricing
- Develop customer-specific pricing solutions that support revenue growth and profitability
- Maintain and update pricing databases, tariff structures, and commercial agreements
- Evaluate pricing requests from sales teams and provide timely commercial recommendations
Business Support
- Work closely with Sales and Business Development to support customer acquisition and retention
- Build pricing models for tenders, corporate contracts, and strategic opportunities
- Conduct profitability analysis for key accounts and business segments
- Monitor competitor pricing and market trends to inform pricing decisions
Reporting & Process Management
- Generate pricing reports, margin analysis, and commercial performance dashboards
- Ensure pricing accuracy across systems and customer agreements
- Support periodic reviews of pricing policies and processes
- Maintain documentation of quotations, approvals, and pricing revisions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in pricing, commercial finance, costing, or financial analysis
- Experience in logistics, courier, freight forwarding, shipping, supply chain, or e-commerce preferred
- Strong grasp of cost analysis, margin calculations, and pricing methodologies
- Comfortable working with large datasets and commercial reporting
